The private rock platforms were a dream! Loved lounging by the sea and enjoying the fine sunset views. The indoor pool area was a peaceful escape, perfect for relaxation. They also had a rooftop bar that was lively and great for drinks!

I like small and luxury hotels. Nice, quiet and comfort atmosphere. Private beach and enough space for all. Friendly and helpful staff: Sir, this menu is for dinner, but the chef has just arrived and he can do it for you...

Too concerned with how the place looks instead of serving guests. The people who run this place have no idea about the business, or how to serve customers. An "Ikea on steroids" design, that hasn't actually been put together very well (As an engineer, I found myself tightening and fixing things in the room). Diabolical value for money. Restaurant prohibitively expensive. We had to keep asking for everything, eg more than 2 tiny cartons of milk for the tea making in the room, or more than one tiny bit of butter with breakfast. We kept asking and complaining about things but we gave up in the end. At these prices, you should not have to keep asking for things. Breakfast at £18 per person, per day - Don't bother, it really is nowhere near worth it. Save yourself a fortune, and get a better location by staying at the Dubrovnik Hilton, which is then what we did after stopping here for 2 nights. The Villa Dubrovnik is the worst, yet most expensive hotel I have ever stopped at. I will not make that mistake again, and I will do my best to make sure no one else does either. It really was that shocking. You have been warned.

Beatiful views of the coast and Dubrovnik Old Town from the restaurant and views out over the sea to Lokrum island from our balcony. Luxurious rooms and spa/pool/gym area were great for relaxation. Lovely food at breakfast and good cocktails in the bar in the evening. A 20 minute walk into the Old Town was pleasant at night to stretch our legs, using the 5-10 minute boat transfer from the hotel during the day was fun. We were there for a treat to end our honeymoon trip and really enjoyed it. Villa Dubrovnik is probably the nicest hotel we will ever stay in!

The indoor pool and spa were perfect, and our evenings spent at the beach were lovely. Don't miss the breakfast. It's wonderful! Keep in mind the cocktails could use some improvement, but the views and location were fine.
We found the bathroom design a bit odd, with no lock on the frosted door, which can catch you off guard.

Everything is incredible here, had an exceptional stay for a romantic or family vacation. The food is outstanding and fabulous. The hotel has brand-new and well-equipped rooms with private hot tub, balcony, as for instance. The location is perfect and exceptionally nice, next to Dubrovnik and the ocean, all that there are fantastic views of Dubrovnik Old Town and Lokrum island, and the property's restaurant - couldn't be better. Ploce is a district that deserves exploring.

Our suite had a spacious balcony with a fantastic view of the Adriatic. The staff was engaging, our large family enjoyed the breakfast with that fine outlook.
In my wife's opinion, the shower design should be improved to prevent water from spilling all over the bathroom floor.

Of all the luxury hoels we've stayed in this was the best! The hotel has had the best architectural renovation we've ever seen. It's luxury minimalism with warmth and great staff! Villa Dubrovnik has all the vital elements we look for in a hotel: it's quite small (56 rooms), right on the water with a private beach and absolute ocean front swimming, has stunning views over the old Dubrovnik walled town, fabulous food and a glamorous rooftop bar, luxury fitouts and amenities and to top all this off, a fabulous spa using Australian Sodashi products and very well trained and aware spa therapists. We will defintely come back! Well done Villa Dubrovnik staff!

The room itself was well-appointed and top-notch and had a splendid view across to the old town. Location: the hotel was short walk to the Old Town and the castle.
